9. Calculation Screen

The Calculator screen allows you to calculate equity (the expected percentage of the pot you can win if the hand goes to a showdown) and win probability using Monte Carlo simulation. You can verify whether the hand and community card situation in each game is advantageous or disadvantageous for you.

The meaning and operation of each screen item are as follows.

  1. Game: Game type. Items checked in Game Settings will appear in the list.
  2. # of Players: Number of players
  3. # of Simulations: Number of simulations
  4. Betting Round: When the Random button is pressed, cards corresponding to that round are generated.
  5. Hole Cards: Your hole cards
  6. Community Cards: The community cards
  7. Random Button: Randomly generates hole cards and community cards.
  8. Simulation Button: Performs a Monte Carlo simulation under the specified conditions and displays the calculation results.

Hole Cards and Community Cards can be selected by tapping the card icons. Tapping a card in the pop-up window reflects the selection on the target card.

The calculation results screen is as follows.

The meaning of each item is as follows.

  1. Equity (Hi): High hand equity (expected pot value)
  2. Equity (Lo): Low hand equity (for games like Omaha HiLo with a low hand)
  3. Equity: Total of Equity (Hi) and Equity (Lo)
  4. Pot Odds (Hi): Probability of winning the high hand pot (counts wins even in chops)
  5. Pot Odds (Lo): Probability of winning the pot with the low hand
  6. Hand Probability: Probability distribution of hands formed at showdown

In games like 7-Card Stud where community cards are dealt to all players, you can set community cards for each player. In this case, an “Each” button appears next to “Community Cards”. Tap this button to set the card information (you can also use the “Random” button to randomly determine the cards).

Tapping the “Each” button displays the following screen. Tap the card icons to set cards individually. The numbers correspond to each player. 0 represents the player being simulated.
